Change... before you have to!
Accepting the age-old idiom that ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!’ isn’t what successful change agents do.
Phrases such as ‘that’s the way things are done around here’ lead to complacency and, as we’ve all seen on our high-streets, complacently ‘resting on our laurels’ leads to our downfall!
But change isn’t easy!
Change is uncomfortable. Change requires you to be brave.
As leaders, you can provide the context for change and you can enable it to happen. You can help others get to where they are afraid of going!
